With the opening of the Iraqi market to French businesses, they understand the security context of the country, still gripped by deadly violence. End of May, two Oil Companies wanted to establish in Iraq taking into account high protection measures, indispensable to move safely. OROPEX International has prepared the mission with the support of a local partner, for logistical matters: armored vehicles, armed guards and knowledge of the region. Back in France, customers were very satisfied to be able to establish important contacts for the Iraqi business development. "At Basra, we were able to appreciate the work of the security companies on the area and see the potential for French businesses in all areas of the Iraqi economy» indicates Serge SPANGARO, project manager for OROPEX International.

The International Conduct Code was signed by more than sixty Security Companies including OROPEX.
Today, over 60 Security firms have signed the Conduct Code; committing themselves to respecting Human Rights and Regulations in the course of their business. This action - the first of its kind, was launched by Switzerland and Industrial Associations, with support from indispensable Government Clients and Humanitarian Organizations.
MONACO 30th October 2010
OROPEX carried out an intensive course - on Defense Techniques - without fatal weapons - for The Princes Guards in the Principality of Monaco. Their job is to Guard the Palace, The Prince and his Family and keep Law and Order.
This course was conducted by own 3 Instructors including an Instructor from the Brazilian Police Force.

Because of the continuing risks related to the situation in the Gulf of Aden on the one hand, and International problems on the other, a Ship Owner approached OROPEX to protect him against risks which could affect his business on the Commercial Lines between Europe, Asia, The Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
Joining the Ship in mid-December in South Africa, our team escorted a Cargo Ship to its destination in the Persian Gulf. They protected the ship and its crew for 15 days. OROPEX provided a Human Prevention Device for the Customer.
