SHIP AND PORT SECURITY
New International Security Standards for Ships and Ports.
In December 2002, The International Maritime Organization adopted new improved standards (Code ISPS) for International Navigation, to prevent and eliminate worldwide terrorist acts.
OROPEX propose simple and effective actions in accordance with ISPS code stipulations.
CONTEXT
Due to constant risks concerning the Gulf situation on the one hand and International matters on the other, Owners wish to protect themselves against elements of risk, regarding commercial activities between Europe, The Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
Concerned with the Ships protection and the Crews working conditions, Owners may call on a human prevention mechanism - allowing to: 
- Estimate the Ships security level, particularly when approaching critical zones, protect the Ships sensitive areas and if necessary, assist The Captain controlling safety matters on board.
- To put into action, a reliable warning system and procedure, specifically adapted for the mission.
- To conduct a continual analysis of the situation and when necessary, establish Management decisions concerning risk factors.
- To react at sea when approaching a suspect boat.

- Strictly adapted to individual needs.

- Changing Course faced with risks or threats or local pressure.
- Reactive to incidents involving the Ship and Crews safety.
